Will I be cold during a body scrub or body wrap?
We do our very best to keep you more than comfortable. We utilize warm heated towels, warm water rinses and a radiant heat panel overhead.
What do I change into for a body wrap or scrub?
We have disposable undergarments for you to change into and during your treatment you are covered with towels as well.
How do I dry brush at home?
It is recommended to do it daily prior to showering. Brush towards your heart to aid in circulation of your lymphatic system. Start at your feet, including soles and work your way up your legs, arms and back of your torso. Don’t brush your face, genitals or any irritations/abrasions on your skin, including varicose veins. Pressure should be firm but not painful (don’t scrub). Your skin should be pink afterwards not irritated. Average recommended amount of time is between 30 seconds and 10 minutes.
Do you clean and re-use body brushes between clients?
No, each body brush is brand new. You are given the brush to take home after your treatment. If you bring that brush back with you for your next treatment you will receive $5 off the cost of that treatment.
Does dry brushing help with cellulite?
Yes! Cellulite is essentially hard fat deposits below the skin. Dry brushing helps to soften those deposits. Anything that can aid in detoxifying will also aid in diminishing the look of cellulite. The key is regular dry brushing.
